Duties:
  • The incumbent performs a full range of cleaning duties in an assigned area without instruction, such as cleaning offices, committee rooms, restaurant facilities, public corridors, stairways, restrooms,elevators, public restroom and other facilities.

    Performs tasks such as vacuuming rugs and carpets. Sweeping, mopping, waxing, dusting, polishing furniture and window sills, cleaning marble mantles, fireplaces, baseboards, bookcases and wash bowls.

    Emptying waste baskets and ash trays

    Uses cleaning equipment and material such as vacuum cleaners, push brooms, cleaning rags, mops and certain cleaning powders and solutions.

    The incumbent also carries out a variety of cleaning custodial duties that involve handling, moving, and controlling heavy powdered equipment and performs minor cleaning equipment maintenance.
  • Establishes a priority for any non-routine work. Resolves routine problems. Handling, moving, and controlling heavy powered equipment and performing minor equipment maintenance. Cleans and makes adjustments to equipment. Uses heavy powered cleaning equipment such as wall washers, carpet cleaning machines, and industrial-type buffers.

Battlefields to Oilfields program

With 50% of the current experienced oil and gas industry workforce approaching retirement age, the “great Crew Change” represents a unique opportunity for new, capable workers to obtain long-term careers in the oil and gas industry. Battlefields to Oilfields aims to prepare returning U.S. veterans for fulfilling careers in the oil and gas industry.

Since 1990, Kimberly Skyrme has worked on film, television, and radio projects in cities across the US as a Casting Director. Kimberly sees herself as an Artist, she paints her canvas with People. Her acting background enhances her skills for communicating the specific language used between directors and actors. Combining her love of film making and her ability to find the “right face for the right place” she continues to work around the clock on current and future projects.

She works directly with Producers and Directors during the development, creative, and preproduction phases.
