Network Engineer  for a position in Newport News VA.  

Clearance Level is Secret  

Salary level is around the 75k Range

Required Experience  3-4 years min.  

Required Certification: CCNA or Higher

Network Engineer :

The  personnel shall perform network management responsibilities to include remote and onsite monitoring of system workloads, system hardware component installation, configuration and operation.

*The Network Engineer shall provide and implement recommendations on system changes and operational procedures needed to increase efficiency. Must be experienced in TLA designs, Common Network Hierarchal designs, NIPR & SIPR network flows.

*Contractor personnel shall install, configure, manage, maintain, and troubleshoot data network systems;including Brocade BigIron and FastIron switches, Cisco Switches & Routers

Network Engineer / Voice over IP Engineer - Need to have an Active Top Secret Clearance

Position: Network Engineer / Voice over IP Engineer - Need to have an Active Top Secret Clearance

Location: Fort Meade, MD

Duration: Long-Term

General Requirement: Voice Over IP Engineer

Background: Requirement for  an experienced  engineer to maintain  the Voice Over Secure Internet Protocol (VoSIP) Core and Enterprise Classified Voice and Video over Internet Protocol (ECVVoIP) network hardware and software including this equipment  listing:

Cisco Call Manager

Cisco      7600 series/ASR9000 series

Cisco      6500/3700/3600/3500/2900  series

Cisco      1841/2500/2600/3800/4000/4500/7200 series

Job Duties:

Job Duty 1 - Work to design of networks for both Ckt Switched and IP networks that support Unified Capabilities which include Real Time Services such as voice and video converged with data applications end-to-end.  Applies extensive knowledge in at least one of the following areas to provide original and innovative solutions: 1) network architecture; 2) network interoperability, network interfaces, and network protocols; 3) transport technology, 4) business organizational alignment, business process development and business case development, 5) network
