Applications Developer

Demonstrated experience with a minimum of five (5) years of experience with full life-cycle software development

Software Developer (Systems Software)

The candidate shall have a minimum of six (6) years of experience in full-lifecycle application software development, of which a minimum of four (4) have been specialized. Specialized experience includes: "hands on" involvement in all aspects of the application software development lifecycle, (from requirements analysis through design, programming, testing, and deployment) involvement with legacy application conversion/redeployment to alternative platforms and languages; and technology assessment.

 Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in at least two (2) of the following key technology areas: Object-Oriented analysis and design, relational database design and development using either AJAX, DHTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, XML, Sybase or Oracle, Ruby on Rails, Java or C++ programming, graphical user interface design and development, analytical modeling, visualization.
