Operations Associate - Washington, DC
Lyft is looking for motivated and organized Operation Associates to join our Washington, DC
office! In this role, you will own the process of converting qualified driver applicants into active
Lyft drivers. If you have an entrepreneurial spirit and the idea of tackling aggressive, audacious
goals excites you, if you have a great sense of humor, enjoy working with people, and want to
work in a fun and collaborative workplace, and if the thought of helping Lyft continue to build this
incredible ride-sharing movement in the DC area (and across the U.S.) sounds exciting we
would love to meet you.
Responsibilities:
• Interface with for-hire transportation stakeholders (i.e. drivers, fleet owners, base owners,
regulators)
• Help guide drivers through the onboarding process whether in person, phone, email, or
carrier pigeon
• Analyze processing data
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Knowledge of the for-hire vehicle industry
• Familiarity with the DC area
Your Skills:
• High energy with an outgoing, social personality—you love talking to people
• Impeccable customer service and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and switch into different modes during the workday/week
• Proficient with a Mac/PC
• Like process, love numbers
• Passion for the sharing economy

• Who needs a translator? You can ask for directions in any country, including Spanish,
French, Mandarin, Amharic, Bengali, Urdu, or Hindi
